It was recently brought to my attention that the market had re-shapen quite significantly over the last year to two years so I thought it worth noting why. It appears the IBM model has had far-reaching effects with the most recent Acadia organization made by Cisco, EMC, and VMware as well as the success HP has seen with EDS so far. Here is a services-oriented list on the transformation of organizations lately. I am paying careful attention to number 5 and 6 for new announcements and future events.
